Features include:
- Demographic/Profile & Activity-Based Segmentation Filters - Filters are rules based on your data, used to filter out information for your reporting or messaging purposes. You can create a filter based on demographics/member profiles or on activity reports from previous messages. For example, you can create filters based on recipients that live in certain states and who clicked on a specific link in a previous message. Filters are also handy for marketers who prefer to send separate versions of their message to AOL subscribers, customers versus non customers, or numerous other customer segments.
- Email Merge/Personalization - Email messages are easily personalized using our email merge "tags". Email merge tags are pulled directly from your customer/subscriber records (database), based on the demographic/profile fields you've created. You simply insert the email merge tags into the body of your message or subject line and when the message is emailed to your customers, the relevant information based on each customer's profile is automatically inserted into the message. Examples of email merge personalization include: first name, company name, state, product interest, publication subscribe to, last hotel stayed at, most recent product category purchased, etc.
- Configurable Data Fields - The EmailLabs demographic/profile database allows clients to create and edit custom fields to record specific data about each entry in a mailing list. This capability enables you to integrate offline data, conduct online surveys and pull data into individual records, import customer transaction data and histories and more, and provides the underpinning of extremely personalized and targeted campaigns.
- Dynamic Content- (also referred to as dynamic message assembly, personalized content, dynamic segmentation) is the ability to create a single email template that delivers different, personalized emails to your customers based upon their demographic profile and preferences. This enables you to create multiple versions of a message using a single template and distribution, while integrating multiple sources of content.
- Automated Trigger-Based Emails - The EmailLabs system can generate an automated follow-up email based on a customer's response to the original email, allowing companies to keep a continuous loop of communication with their customers.
- Customizable and Personalized Email Footers - Automatically include personalized information in the footer of each email you send, including items required by CAN-SPAM, unsubscribe/profile update links, the recipient's email address, postal mailing address, forward-to-a-friend functionality, and other features necessary for a successful email marketing program.
