Professional Services Engineer

We're looking for a Professional Services Engineer to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

• Develop scripts with Perl, Tcl, JavaScript, and SQL that enhance Lyris software functionality
• Use programming skills to assist in reproducing support issues programmatically
• Help with the technical side of the sales cycle from pre-sales through implementation
• Resolve complex and urgent product support issues, leveraging engineering skills and knowledge
• Make several off-site trips per month (within North America typically)

Qualifications:

• 2+ years commercial Engineering experience
• Windows and Linux/Unix (both important!)
• SQL (SQL Server, Oracle)
• Perl and/or Tcl scripting
• Networking and systems administration (TCP/IP and SMTP)
• Proven track record of problem solving skills
• Great oral and written communication
• BS/MS-CS/EE or equivalent experience
