Software Engineer

EmailLabs is looking to grow our core engineering development team with a Software Engineer to continually enhance the EmailLabs email marketing automation platform.  The ideal candidate needs to have the drive to excel and produce innovative product features in an open source environment. • Work on the design and development of new features built on the LAMP technology stack (Linux/Apache/mySQL/PHP)
• Contribute new ideas for product improvements based on emerging technologies

• 3-10 years commercial Engineering experience
• 5 years of experience in Web programming in any environment.  Experience with PHP a big plus
• SQL (mySQL, Oracle).  Experience with mySQL is a strong plus
• Experience and familiarity with object oriented design, leverage of object-oriented PHP a plus
• Knowledge of UNIX or Linux and associated applications and utilities
• Understanding of email marketing or ASP space is a plus
• Proven track record of problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• BS/MX-CS/EE or equivalent experience
