Corporate Communications Manager

We're looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join our team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages, edits, proofs and approves public relations firms’/freelance resources writing of press releases, byline articles, fact sheets and other materials
• Supplements outside writing resources as needed in writing press releases, articles and other materials
• Works closely with VP Corp Communications in developing PR initiatives and messaging/story pitch platforms that PR firms implement
• Manage press coverage database, communications to executive team and employees, coverage statistics and analysis
• Manages relations with industry analysts including frequent email updates, scheduling demos and briefings on new products, feature updates, partnerships, research initiatives and client case studies
• Works with CEO, CFO, Director of IR and external IR firm on development of investor presentations, earnings scripts and releases and other supporting IR materials
• Works with Thompson Financial to update and maintain lyrisinc investor relations site
• Works closely with market research manager on survey and other research projects used for PR purposes
• Coordinates internal contributions to company’s to be launched marketing portal site
• Works closely with Market Research Manager, internal subject matter experts and marketing team on the development, production and launch of PR-oriented surveys, studies and white papers
• Writes and manages monthly employee newsletter and related employee communications and emails
• Works with executive team on preparation of company presentations
• Manages PR/AR/IR WebOffice Extranet and databases
• Manages Corp Communications budgets, contracts, invoice approvals, etc.
• Maintains speaking opportunity calendars and coordinates submissions with PR firm

Qualifications:

• Excellent and efficient writer, strong spoken skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Strong team player and ability to collaborate
• Knowledge of the technology/software industries and/or marketing processes/industry are key assets
• 3-5 years experience in public relations or corporate communications
• Bachelors degree with specialty in marketing, communications, English or other
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience using email marketing, content management and/or Web analytics tools a plus
