Director, Market Intelligence

We're looking for a Director, Market Intelligence to join our team! 

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a research budget
• Create a rolling 12 month market intelligence plan
• Track effectiveness of market intelligence activities and expenditures
• Pro-actively develop research activities which will enhance decision making, including increasing knowledge of customers and prospects, knowledge of the competition, and knowledge of marketing effectiveness
• Hire, develop, and otherwise manage staff as appropriate
• Regularly report key metrics to EVP in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of proven success developing and leading a strategic research team
• Proven experience managing primary and secondary research, directly and through agencies
• Experience in developing a competitive intelligence program
• Experience in analyzing marketing effectiveness
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communications skills, with specific position related skills in reporting of analyses
• Strong relationship building skills
• Able to prioritize in a chaotic environment
• Forward-thinking, always aware of trends
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
