Systems Administrator

We're looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team! 

Job Responsibilities:

• Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems
• Performs system backups and recovery
• Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity
• Performs documentation of systems and applications supported
• Operate and maintain a high availability hosting environment for key Proofpoint services
• Fulfill NOC-related support requests from internal staff escalations
• Repair, document, and architect to protect against network outages and other incidents
• Provide intra-department assistance on a variety of Linux system administration tasks as needed
• Participate in a rotating on-call pager duty program

Qualifications:

• May require a bachelor's degree in a related area with at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision
